Summary of Covid 19 specific Policies for Trestle CPD Sessions
Trestle Theatre Company will be adhering to the most up to date government guidelines and will inform our participants of any relevant changes as soon as possible.
The capacity of our sessions will be capped at 12 including the instructor to ensure 2m social distancing is possible in the space at Trestle Arts Base. Due to the session being a training session the rule of 6 does not apply.
Temperature will be checked on arrival with no access if above 38C.
Participants will be required to sign a waiver prior to arrival to certify the following
a. They will not attend the CPD session if they or anyone in their household/place of work has experienced symptoms in the last 14 days.
b. If symptoms arise during a CPD session, they will have made arrangements to be able to leave the session.
c. If symptoms arise in their household/place of work within 14 days after attending a CPD session they will inform Trestle immediately, acquire a test and inform them of the results.
Please note that this data is only to be collected for compliance with the national test and trace initiative.
5. Increased cleaning of our venue will take place.
6. Care will be taken to socially distance at all times.
7. There will be social distancing and staggered time slots during drop off and pickup with no parent entry to the venue to decrease risk.
We’re putting procedures in place to minimise the risk of:
Spread of Infection from participant to participant
Spread of infection from participant to instructor
Virus spread via surface contact
Development of symptoms
Precautions we’re taking:
Surface clean of the venue spaces at the beginning and end of every day.
Frequent Hand washing and hand sanitising to be implemented.
Suitable soap and paper towels will be available.
Hand sanitiser will be made available.
Instructors will check stock daily.
PPE (Gloves) will be required for dealing with first aid issues.
Staff will wear visors
All participants will be asked to wear a mask where possible.
All equipment will be sanitised in between being used by different people.
DISTANCING MEASURES AT ARRIVAL
Participants will be required to wash their hands on entrance to the venue
Participants will be asked to bring their own food and water and to keep it separate from others. Takeaway hot drinks and snacks will be available from the café on some of the days.

DISTANCING MEASURES DURING ACTIVITY
We will endeavour to keep 2m between all staff and participants at all times.
All equipment will be restricted to one participant and any chairs will be set up for adequate distancing.
ACTIVE RESPONSE (IF SYMPTOMS ARE SHOWN)
A designated space for anyone showing symptoms will be set.
Participant will be asked to leave the session. Advice will be given to follow test and trace and self-isolation guidance.
Participant will be asked to provide test results as soon as possible
Following the participant leaving the area will be disinfected
The instructor will be told to deep clean their person, hand washing, change of clothes and incident will be logged as soon as possible.
CANCELLATION
If the CPD sessions cannot happen in person due to government guidelines you will be offered a place on any future Trestle CPD courses (in person or online) and if that is not possible then a full refund will be given.
If you miss sessions due to Covid 19 symptoms you will be offered a place on any future Trestle CPD courses (in person or online) and if that is not possible then a full refund will be given.
If you miss the sessions due to any other reasons we will offer you a place on any future Trestle CPD courses (in person or online) but will not be able to offer a refund.
The following restrictions will be in place to keep everyone safe:
We reserve the right to restrict access to anyone showing symptoms
We reserve the right to ask the participant to leave the session early if they develop symptoms
Should the participant develop symptoms during a CPD session or 14 days after you agree to obtain a test and let us know immediately?
A minimum of 14 days symptom free will need to be agreed to attend any session.

We would like to be clear that our temperature checks are not a medical diagnosis, only a preventative measure and further medical guidance should be sought if you or your family are displaying symptoms.
