Herts Young Homeless is working with the St Albans Visual Arts Festival this year on an exciting exhibition showcasing some of Hertfordshire’s best talent.
Local artists are encouraged to submit a piece of art to sell at the exhibition, the proceeds of which will support the work of hyh*.
In addition, young people across Hertfordshire (Year 10 – Year 13) are invited to enter their work into a competition to win a painting lesson for 2 with Georgie Mason, whose work has been shown at the Royal Academy Summer Festival. Georgie says “This is such a great opportunity to get creative for a great cause! So roll your sleeves up and get messy, and I can't wait to meet the two winners in my studio on a farm in London, later in the year!”
There will be two categories (Years 10-11 and Years 12-13). The best pieces will feature as part of the exhibition. All the proceeds of sale will go to hyh**.
All artwork to be submitted by April 28th 2022
* Proceeds will be split 50/50 between the charity and the artist
** Proceeds will be donated in full to the charity
